Tori Cockman utilizes her experience and passion to serve DIA with confidence and enthusiasm, focusing on strategic planning, productivity, and supporting team members. As Project Assistant at Pharmaceutical Product Development, she provided quality administrative support as part of a clinical project team for a successful Clinical Research Organization. Cockman went on to own and operate a Curves Women’s Fitness Facility for 11 years, where she engaged with staff, members, and the community to lead, grow, and serve. She managed business tasks effectively and made a positive impact on the health and wellness of individuals through this successful business venture. During her time with Curves, she organized impactful community outreach projects such as local food drives and cancer awareness events. Cockman led her team to achieve a National Top Performer award for the Curves Complete program focused on member results through diet, exercise, and motivation. In addition, Cockman has served as PTA Hospitality Chair and Classroom Reading Tutor. She is involved with the Diaper Bank of SENC, NSEA Swim Foundation, Church Youth Ministry, and Joe’s Bucket Bash supporting local families battling rare cancers. Cockman holds her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Minor in Social and Economic Justice from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
