Kate Orr, CPA is a Principal at Dental Innovation Alliance (DIA), where she leads the firm's early-stage investment strategy and spearheads investments in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and FinTech companies transforming the dental industry.

Kate sources, evaluates, and partners with entrepreneurs building innovative solutions at the intersection of dental care and technology. She served on the board of DentalBee, a voice-enabled clinical documentation platform that was successfully acquired by Overjet in December 2025. She currently serves as aboard observer for SJC Bio, which is developing breakthrough bone graft technology to enable same-day dental implants, and Cloud Dentistry, a workforce management marketplace connecting dental professionals with practices. Drawing on her experience in fund administration and public accounting with PwC, Kate brings a rigorous financial lens to evaluating early-stage opportunities and supporting portfolio companies through critical growth stages. Her deep understanding of venture fund structures—from fundraising through exit—enables her to guide founders on capital strategy, operational efficiency, and building scalable businesses that deliver value to both patients and practitioners.
